Stump removal in Tyler, ground down past the grass line.

Professional-grade grinders take a stump of any size below the surface, and the clean-up is part of the job. The process is the same four steps whether it is one stump or a whole lot.

Read the stump before the grinder starts

Every job starts on site. We look at the stump's size, where it sits and what surrounds it: a fence, a patio edge, a sprinkler line, a neighbour's side of the property. That is what decides how the machine gets in and how the work is laid out.

We use professional-grade equipment to grind or completely remove stumps of any size, so a small ornamental stump and an old oak base are handled with the same method.

Six to twelve inches down, and why that depth

The grinder reduces the stump by six to twelve inches below ground level. That is deep enough that the surface can go back to lawn, seed or a garden bed without the old wood sitting just beneath it.

Removing the stump also keeps children and pets from tripping over it, takes away the tree's regrowth and stops the rotting wood from drawing pests to your yard.
