East Texas tree removal · out of Tyler

Tree removal across East Texas, planned or in the middle of the night.

One yard in Tyler, crane and bucket trucks on the road, and an emergency line that is open every hour for storm damage and fallen trees.

Out of the Tyler yard to the county lines

Our yard is at 724 Bellwood Golf Club Road in Tyler, and the crews run from there to homes and businesses across East Texas: Jacksonville, Tyler, Gresham, Flint, Bullard, Rusk, Overton, Henderson, Kilgore, Troup, Arp, Whitehouse, Murchison, Athens, Chandler, Brownsboro, Palestine, Frankston, Edom, Ben Wheeler, Van and Canton.

That reaches across eight counties, and we keep expanding the service area outside Tyler. If your town is not named here, call (903) 581-4766 and ask. A tree is a tree wherever it stands.

The equipment travels with the job: the knuckle-boom crane truck, the bucket truck, the chipper and the loader. What shows up depends on what the assessment says the tree needs, because a small oak in a fenced yard does not call for the same truck as a pine leaning on a roof.

Emergency removal, when the tree is already down

East Texas weather is unpredictable, and heavy winds, lightning and flash storms leave broken or diseased trees behind. We handle 24/7 emergency tree removal, storm damage cleanup and disaster recovery, and the office line is open around the clock.

On an emergency the first job is making the scene safe, then working out what is holding what. A pine lying on a roofline or against a porch often carries load in the trunk and the torn root plate. So the crew cuts it in sections from the top and lowers each piece on the crane or a rope, taking weight off the structure a piece at a time instead of all at once.

Afterward we clear the debris, and for an insurance claim our team can write detailed reports with photographic evidence of the damage. Trees that are only partly damaged and still savable may be cabled or braced instead of taken out.

Pines, oaks and what happens to the wood

Most East Texas yards are pine and oak, and the two fail differently. Pines snap and uproot in wind, and a drought-stressed pine that browns from the top is worth a call before the next storm. Oaks carry their decay inside, so a hollow trunk or a dead central leader can hide behind a green crown.

Oak wilt is the East Texas oak disease to rule out. Artmire's carries the Texas Oak Wilt Qualified credential, and our ISA Certified Arborist can send samples to a plant pathology lab, so a fast-dying oak gets a diagnosis instead of a guess.

Logs and chips from removals end up in the hardwood mulch and firewood we sell back at the Tyler yard. Planned removals get a free estimate, and once you accept the quote we can be on site within two days.

Artmire's Urban Forestry is family owned and has served Tyler and the towns around it since 1995. Fully insured: professional liability and workers' compensation.
